The federal cabinet subcommittee on the Exit Control List (ECL) met on Wednesday in the Ministry of Interior, presided over by Interim Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti. Shahid Ashraf Tarar, the Railways Minister, was present at the meeting along with other representatives from the Ministry of Interior and other organisations to discuss a range of ECL issues. The subcommittee suggested that 41 names be added to the ECL that different departments and agencies should send. In the 190 million pound scandal, the NAB has recommended that 29 individuals, including Imran Khan, be placed on extended community leave (ECL). It was also suggested that thirteen distinct categories of cases be taken from the ECL list.
