On Thursday, the Foreign Office declared that Pakistan was following the law when it came to deporting unlawful aliens who were on its territory. At a weekly news briefing, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, the spokeswoman for the Foreign Office, stated that the country’s safety and security was the reason behind the adoption of these regulations. She stated that as the repatriation plan takes effect on November 1, Pakistan is in contact with the interim Afghan administration regarding the return of illegal Afghans. “We clarified to them that this policy applies to all nationalities lacking legitimate documentation to remain in Pakistan, not just Afghans,” the spokesperson said.
