19 candidates submit papers for Vehari NA seats

Vehari: The phase of submission of nomination papers for the by-elections held in two
constituencies of the National Assembly on March 19 in Vehari district has been completed. A
total of 19 candidates submitted their nomination papers in both the constituencies. Out of

which 11 candidates belong to NA 164 Vehari 3 Constituency while 8 candidates have
submitted their nomination papers from NA 165 Vehari 4 Constituency. Both the constituencies
of Vehari have been vacated by the resignations of PTI members National Assembly Tahir Iqbal
Chaudhry and Barrister Aurangzeb Khachi. The candidates who have submitted their
nomination papers to participate in the elections from Constituency NA 164 Vehari 3 include
former MNA Tahir Iqbal Chaudhry (PTI), Zahid Iqbal Chaudhry, Begum Tahmina Dowlatana
Muslim League (N), and Aftab Khan Khachi. , Rana Sagheer Ahmed Guddu, Muhammad
Nadeem, Muhammad Saleem Khan, Muhammad Adnan, Malik Hamid Ali, Bilal Amin and Rao
Tariq Mehmood. The details of the candidates who have submitted their nomination papers for
Constituency NA 165 Vehari 4 are as follows: Saeed Ahmad Khan Munis Pakistan Muslim
League (N), Aurangzeb Khan Khachi (PTI), Mahmood Hayat Tuchi Khan (Peoples Party), Mian
Majid Nawaz. Arain, Zeeshan Nawaz Arain, Haji Muhammad Iqbal, Rao Ghulam Mustafa, Asif
Saeed Munis are included. Candidates came in the form of huge rallies to submit their papers
and their supporters kept banging on the beat of drums and chanting slogans in favor of their
respective candidates. The candidates and their supporters were also seen chatting and joking
with each other.
