18-member Punjab cabinet sworn in

On Wednesday, the Governor’s House in this city hosted a sombre  ceremony to swear in the 18-member Punjab government. Following the reading of the ministerial appointment order by  Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhter Zaman, Punjab Governor  Muhammad Balighur Rehman administered the oath to the recently constituted provincial ministers. Along with former speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal and Speaker of  the Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also attended the event. Khawaja Saad Rafique and other senior members of the Pakistan  Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership were also in attendance.

Names of the newly-appointed provincial ministers, along with their constituencies, from where they were elected to the Punjab Assembly, are as under:
